Re: Independence

I will be. Getting away from non democratic rule by deluded, power obsessed lunatics will be worth any unpleasantness. It's looking more likely that the EU will crumble before we fully leave anyway.

Re: THE ULTIMATE CAR THREAD

What we need is some sort of device that can split water into oxygen and hydrogen that's small enough to fit in a car and powered by some kind of super battery. That way you could put water in the petrol tank, squirt hydrogen and oxygen into a monstrous V10 and get stream out of the exhaust. Big sho...

Re: EU - In or Out?

What's with the personal attacks? You don't know me at all. A few dozen posts on a forum give you zero incite into who I am. The reverse is also true; the only thing I know for sure about you is that I seem to really wind you up. Like I said, impasse, I see no reason to further argue this as you'll ...

The thing is, I see exactly the same thing from you and your intractable opinion.

Re: EU - In or Out?

I found the last line interesting, "The UK in a Changing Europe assisted with the commissioning of this piece".

Paid propaganda. Newspapers are corporations owned by the rich with agendas. They can't be trusted.

Re: The Film and TV Thread

I tell you what I'm liking at the moment. The short films by Oats Studios/Neill (District 9) Blomkamp on YouTube.

The first two are awesome with more to come..

Suitable 4k TV too?

Also, JW1 and 2 are my favorite Keanu films. The character really suits his acting inability.

Re: The Politics Thread

I've annotated the graphs to help you understand what I'm saying, RB. So please answer: - When will Tories stop blaming Labour for everything? They've had seven years to fix it. - How do you think the Tories will reduce the deficit and then bring down the debt when all they do is push their targets...

Re: The Politics Thread

See, short memory or too young to have lived it. All your links do is back up what I've said. I never said the Tories have eliminated the debts that Labour ran up because they haven't, although it has come down a decent amount as your pretty graph shows. If you think Labour can spend billions on uni...

Re: The Politics Thread

The problem with that is that the young people who've voted Labour are too young to remember the reason we have austerity now. It is because the last Labour government spent money we don't have on the things that Jeremy wants to spend it on again. The last Labour government left the country with hug...
