Re: PS5 vs XSX

MS buying Zenimax, fuck me never saw that coming. Perfect timing the day before XBX/S pré orders open, just imagine a world where TES, Fallout, Doom etc are Xbox exclusives...

Re: PS5 vs XSX

I’ve ordered an RTX3080 today, and I’ve decided that I’ll pass on the XSX until it gets some solid games. Most of the stuff I want I can get on the PC now, including MS first party titles.

Plus I want 4K/60, not 4K/30.

Re: PS5 vs XSX

I watched it, and the one thing that struck me was that the games all looked very similar. They were either dark and gritty, or bright and colourful. Spider-Man 1.5 looked chaotic, as did Deathloop. Nothing much to excite there at all, but that equally went for the recent Xbox event (although there ...

Re: PS5 vs XSX

MS blink first then, Nov 10 launch for both X and S, at £450 and £250 respectively. Oh, and now Game Pass Ultimate will include EA Access as well, as a cheeky little sweetener if you go that route. Have to say, that’s some decent pricing there but I’m surprised MS announced before Sony, even if it w...

Re: PS5 vs XSX

Are the Titans any good for games anyway? Comparatively speaking.

Re: 2020

 I love that, sounds amazing. My daughter is nearly 10months old now and her brother 1month today, so I’m hoping having them close in age will be really nice as they grow up together, even if my daughter doesn’t live with me. Weekends are fun with two under a year old right now!

Re: PS5 vs XSX

I’ve got GPU, and it’s worth every penny. Being able to play FSX and Battletoads this week, and fire up the Halos and FH4 and then all the random things you never thought would be as good as they are (the F1 games are some of the best driving games I’ve ever played) is truly brilliant. It all works ...

Re: 2020

He is now thanks mate, it’s like it never happened to him. Tough little fellow! Four weeks old now and still technically a week from arriving

Everyone is doing well, mum is amazing and my daughter is fascinated by her little brother :)

Re: PS5 vs XSX

I bought Charlotte a Switch to play whilst she was pregnant during lockdown, mostly so I could carry on playing my games in peace  She’s not really touched it much tbh, and I’ve not had a proper go yet.

Re: 2020

Thanks man, he’s doing much better now. Born at 34+6, 5lbs 2oz, diagnosed with a malrotated bowel and required emergency surgery to correct (and by emergency I mean they wheeled him out of the scan and straight to theatre without us really having a chance to say anything to him, while the surgeon ra...

Re: 2020

Having still got my 17 day old son in hospital with all manner of tubes inside him, I’ll vouch for how good the NHS can actually be when it needs to be. I don’t mind the whole mask thing, it’s weird for me as I haven’t socially distanced or done anything different really at work since this whole thi...

PS5 vs XSX

Anyone looking at either of these? Have to say I wasn’t that interested until I picked an XBX up the other month, now I can’t wait to jump back in. I’ll go MS again purely for the extra power and I prefer the pad, neither console looking good for exclusives really right now and in fairness I mostly ...
