Re: EU - In or Out?

So... less than a year until Brexit, no sign of a deal, no sign of what a deal might look like... are all the Vote Leave people still happy with their decision? And before you answer that, think of the UK as a whole. I don't really see Brexit doing anything bad for me (other than needing a passport ...

Re: ANDROID IS FUCKING WANK

See, that's where I was coming from back whenever I wrote the last posts in this thread. Oreo has been out for *checks Wikipedia* five months now. Every Android phone made in at least the last year, if not the last two should be running it, as a matter of security if nothing else. But they're not, b...

Re: AirPlay shenanigans

C'est la vie. My router is now a VM running pfsense, so it shouldn't even be in the chain of laptop-Airport Extreme-Airport Express (or laptop-switch-Airport Express if it's over ethernet). Hmm. Oh well. I bought a USB soundcard and ran that into the Thunderbolt dock, so I'm now running the MacBook ...

AirPlay shenanigans

Has anyone seen this before? I've got an AirPort Express hooked up to my speakers and set up as an AirPlay server. My iPhone can see it just fine, but for some reason, my MacBook has stopped noticing that it exists. I'm moving more towards using my MacBook as my main PC, but not being able to easily...

Re: Apple Stuff

One thing with this change thats annoyed me though is the app store, they have done the same with the app store in the last update to itunes and a couple of apps that I used didn't copy over and I couldn't get them onto my phone turns out they are no longer on the app store :( Is it possible that t...

Re: Net Neutrality?

We've managed to avoid it on mobile data, but I don't know if that's more due to EU regulations or British ones.

Re: Independence

I will be. Getting away from non democratic rule by deluded, power obsessed lunatics will be worth any unpleasantness. It's looking more likely that the EU will crumble before we fully leave anyway. https://cdn.images.express.co.uk/img/dynamic/1/590x/Boris-Johnson-797682.jpg Looking at the moment a...

Yeah. Whatever you think about someone's ability and creative output, I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Re: The Film and TV Thread

So Justice League isn't a bag of shit. Pleasantly surprised.

I'd put it behind Wonder Woman and call it the second best DCEU film to date.

I do feel sorry for Snyder's personal situation, but I can't help but feel the film got a lot better because he stopped working on it.

Re: Apple Stuff

That should be on as default though, bloody apple always make things difficult. Surprised that it wasn't, given that it was on on my previous phone. Pretty much all of my other settings transferred over. Out of curiosity do me a favour, go screen shot how you have your current settings set up. I do...

Re: Apple Stuff

How do I get the screen to come down without the home button? You just had to rub the home button without actually pressing it to get the top part to come down but I can't figure out how to do it without the home button. It's called "Reachability". Step 1: Navigate to Settings > General >...
