Re: THE ULTIMATE CAR THREAD

Captain the problem with the drivers door lock is the lock itself, the bit you put the key into is worn, get a new one from fords, take in the key and they should be able to work out the correct key no, and order the correct lock for your key.

Re: The Politics Thread

Point missed completely.

If you aren't paying tax at the present threshold, then how in heavens name can increasing that threshold be of benefit?

This is a case of a chocolate teapot, & usual Con lies that you can expect.

Re: The Politics Thread

The moving of goalposts is always a good one lol. However again I repeat, I was questipning the effectiveness of the raising of the threshold for those not paying any tax. As for the NHS under Farage shambles, it will be gone, under the Cons, as good as gone, I think only the LDs and labour can be t...

Re: The Politics Thread

Apparently not a miscomprehension lol. I didnt argue against the tax cut, just the total ineffectiveness of it for the lowly paid. Certainly I will be seriously considering voting LD. They do seem more radical than labour. Remember that under the Cons the NHS is under serious threat of under funding

Re: The Politics Thread

So if you are paid £9750 a year, how is the raising of the tax threshold going to help?

Mmm not one little jot, that's what.

Re: The Politics Thread

I see the Tories are back at their usual tricks, they have promised tax cuts, however raising of the tax threshold will have absolutely no benefit for the many very low paid that don't pay any tax anyway, yes well done. NHS promised to have more funding, what they haven't said is when, lol. Another ...

I wouldn't be too surprised if at some stage in the future this raises its head again. 85% is a very very good turn out, but it wasn't a particularly high majority vote.

Well, we are off to Hong Kong, for two nights, just as a stopover, before going onto Bali. Not been to either place before, so we will see what we will see.
