Is your client being set to update its cache frequently enough? There is no reason for any kind of lag on this server as the results are pulled directly from the database afaik.

google reader doesn't appear to have a setting where you can set the frequency.

Okay, this has been reinstalled along with a phpBB upgrade, resulting in:
1) 5 minute polling time. Never got to see this option before, as the mod broke the ACP. Should resolve Screamo's problem.
2) Link to the feed gnerator now appears in the top right of the screen for everyone.
3) The presence of a feed should be picked up by your browser.
4) Works in subsilver as well as prosilver.

It does have the following disagvantages:
1) It's totally fucked.

I'll try and find out why now

Is anyone familiar with iGoogle?

Well I had an idea for making a gadget you display on your custom home page that displays the TOP RSS feed.

There's a lot of information here about gadget API working with remote content.

If anyone is interested I might have a crack at making it..

Or you could just use one of the billions of RSS gadgets already available.

Go to "Add Stuff" and search for RSS.
A slight majority of a statistically worthless sample size agree.
