I'd quite like it I must admit, but despite my deliberately controversial quote above I'm still more than happy to bow to whatever Dan wants on any matter relating to this place given how incredibly generous he has been over giving us this interweb space to use.

All my comments in this thread so far have been in my role as a member, not an admin. Sorry for not making that clear earlier. I've separated my thoughts out below.

My view as a member of this site is that it's a shit idea: this is a chat forum, not a website for crappy flash games -- there are loads of websites offering this functionality (including score tables etc) already. If the arcade gets installed I don't think it will ever get used after the initial few weeks of excitement. Modifications applied so far (e.g. RSS feeds) have enhanced the website in it's goal as being a chat forum: this will not, and I therefore think that the depth of modification required to the base forum software will not be worth the effort, especially considering the continuing maintenance of both the mod and base forum software in the future.

My view as the person hosting and maintaining the site is that if the vote comes out in favour of this mod, then I will implement it, however shit I personally think it might be.
