Was a good thought, I thought ;)

Democracy in action.

And nobody was advocating swear filters etc. Just a little more thought in it?

THis is exactly what the referendum section is for. tbf.

Then we can swap the logo for a fugly one, add a swear filter and surgically remove most of the humour.

Just like the old days... *sigh*

That'd be shit.

Ive changed mine because everyone else had a custom tag, but I probably won't again for ages, if at all. But when I do, I'd like the option to do it quickly and effortlessly. Soooooooooooooooooo why not just tell the people who change it every day to calm down and not be so tagline happy?

Why not just have a cut off date, and have everyone's tag stay what it is on that date, after which it will only be changeable only by a charitable donation. As has been previously mentioned.

Not allowing the users to change their tags as often as their underwear will result in having to have alternative default tags though, 'hasn't realised there are custom tags yet' won't really be applicable any more (though 'in the circle of trust' were grand ;) )

Perceived intelligence? Surely that adds more gravitas than necessary to what is essentially frippery?

Changing the custom tags would be easy, but the majority (the few that want a say) are speaking up for the status quo.

My "spin" wasn't polished enough. I think a campagin int he red tops might sway it next time. 8)

Go and post in the relevant thread in The Lounge and some awesome person might change it for you. ;)
