Unit-01 installed.
Wiring & Skirting to tidy up. I'll do that when all the units are finished.

Feels great to be getting shit out of boxes at last.

Thanks Sam. ;)
I'm happy with the way it came out.

I suck at putting things together. Did an Ikea shelf thing for the bathroom, but the back wouldnt go on properly, so I just botched it and kept it pressed to the wall.

Started fabrication on the corner TV unit.
Actually, I cut the pieces about a month ago and only screwed them together over the last two days. :D

Sanding, filling, painting, wooden shelve inserts & trim to follow.

TV goes in the top section (32" Sony Bravia), DVD player & UPC box in the middle and PC on the bottom... that was the plan, :?
But I'm now using a slimline horizontal PC as a media unit, not the full size ATX machine which I designed the unit to hold.
Also, I've reconsidered putting the DVD player in. I never use it. Does anybody actually use DVD players anymore?
I wouldn't mind but I think I paid €340/€370 for the fucker. It was top of the range with a large HD when I bought it a few years ago.

Anyways, I likes the unit, it's bigger than it looks in the pic.

For anyone interested... that will be just me then. :D
I have finished Project Shelving.

I likes it. PC looks a little lost. That space was made for a full size ATX but otherwise I'm happy with it.
Look! No wires. Considering there are 4 ethernet cables, phone & power cable running into that router,
I think it looks quite neat.

Yay me! I am the cool. 8) Thank fuck it's done.

That's a shit name. You should have called it project sleepy weasel.
A slight majority of a statistically worthless sample size agree.

Just come across this and it doesn't look as crap as I thought it would from the first image! I imagined shelves choked with stuff. Looks neat though. Nice! You're doomed when you upgrade that portable tellybox though...

I had a Project Sleepy Weasel ... but it got shelved RB. (Jez joke)

I was thinking about that last night DJ but I have so much to do to this house I can't see myself splashing out on a new TV in the near future - if ever.
But I will keep my saw sharp just in case I do.

Thanks! ;)

I'm going to take a short break from building and then... I'm not sure, I will either commence -
Project Back Garden (not a euphemism).
Project Front Door.
Project Bathroom or Project Sleepy Weasel.

I think Project Wicked Weasel may be more fun.

Oh? That sounds interesting.
Apparently Project Sleepy Weasel involves rohypnol, cable ties and a secret basement (which I haven't built yet and sounds like a lot of work).
What does one need for Project Wicked Weasel please? I'm guessing copious amounts of Vodka and the promise of a gold necklace.
