79 for me too!

I got a couple of 100s in there though, which made me happy.

97 but it's a job I've been doing for over two decades so I'm actually disappointed with that.

86 - but I only played with letters as a job for 1 decade so that's ok.
I got quite a few 100%, but a couple were completely off.

89/100

It was interesting - I got one atrocious score (35ish) that ruined my average, but it looked 'right' to me. 3 or 4 '100's though.

Clever typography folks: in the industry, is this all done by eye, or are there algorithms that guide you?

In screen printing and vinyl printing etc. kerning is controlled by the application used to create the text.
There might be times when you want to tweak it here and there for effect, but the software is doing all the work.
There are instances though, for example with mixed fonts in screen printing or mixed colours for vinyl were you'd need to do it by eye.
Results can vary depending on the arsehole doing the job. :D

I got 20s and 30s for the first few and gave up.
Pointless kerning tasks are not for Helios.

I got a few 100s, but the ones with overhanging capitals really fucked me and I got 69 overall

I got 92 in the end, mostly 100's but I did get a 67 on the first capitol T not realising it could overhang as much as it did.
