I'd rather go to Leeds/Reading and see The Smashing Pumpkins. Haven't seen 'em live in over 10 years, and would love to do so again.
Except I can't, because all the weekend tickets for those festivals have sold out and did so within minutes. It's the same for V which is my local one and would've been nice to have the option to visit. What's happening these days with festivals selling out within minutes? It never used to be like that 3-4 years ago: You could still get tickets up to about a fortnight before the festival itself.
Is it people just chucking them on eBay now? Is that why the tickets sell out so quick? I know a few people will, but it must be a good few tens of thousands of people doing it to make the thing sell out so quickly if that's the case.
