My Bike

Postby Ekona » Thu May 31, 2007 9:28 pm

This is the thread where, on Saturday morning, I shall post pics of my new bike. Hopefully. Providing they've got one in stock I like and can afford. Halfrauds FTW! :D

And yes, I know I should get one on-line as it'll be cheaper and better and everything. Thing is, I rather like the idea of just buying something off the shelf and then coming on here and letting all the bike-geeks rip me to shreds over it. Kinda like lubing up in preparation for a gang rape. I know it shall be shite and over-priced, but it shall be mine and I shall ride in the sunshine in tight shorts again! 8)

Feel free to answer the poll and let me know how well you trust my buying instincts! Stay tuned, kids.

My new bike got delivered today! I'm going to have a go and look at it tomorrow hopefully and then go for a cycle on Saturday. I shall post pics here also. :D

@RB: There are some good bikes as Halfords, like the GTs and Konas. Some of the Carreras aren't too bad either. I'm not a fan of Saracen or Diamondback though personally, and they do sell a huge amount of crap.

New bikes FTW!

I went to a proper bike specialist in town the other day, but they just had (what looked like to me) utter shit in there anyway, so I'll go with the safe an boring option.

GT and Konas you say, TL? I'll keep me eye out for them, cheers bud. Oh, and nice one on getting your bike! :D
