My dads been a little irritated at my car spend

And then today the key guy came round as when I bought the car it only had one key.
My pops went all "you like spending your money etc......
At least I was at work when he blew his top!

Do your parents still get annoyed by things you do? Or are you a parent yourself and see things from the other side of the coin?

Some parents are just chronic naggers and naysayers.
You can ignore it or tell them to stuff it.
Just remember that whatever you say to your parents will come around and bite you in the arse with your own children.

I'm more of a "I didn't ask your opinion on this aspect" kind of person.
I imagine there's horrible pain somewhere in my future.

Nagged? Christ no, left that behind years ago. I nag them now for being typical stupid old people

LOL Ekona nagging for being typical old people!

I think I saved myself from another nagging, he still thinks it was a waste of money.

I thought I'd be a smart arse and gave my original key a clean.....brilliant all those years of gunk cleaned off

I really should have stopped there

Gave my new key a clean.......and then noticed the transponder chip had fallen out (I needed to stick the thing down somehow)

As it was the whole key thing that caused my Dad to pop in the first place I had to see where the damned chip was.
I found it this morning by the car, Will have to test the damned thing with the key to see if it still works.

Saved!!
The chip still worked, and I stuck the damned thing in the key with double sided tape so it won't fall out

And that means I won't get nagged from my pops.

I often have to nag my step-dad as he doesn't seem to know what a bin is. Just leaves rubbish all over the kitchen counter after making food.
