My grandfather had a few shotguns and rifles on his farm, for control of pests/vermin. Had the guns for probably over 50 years. I think you were supposed to keep them in one safe bolted to the wall, and the ammunition in a different safe.

He kept his double under the stairs with his coats, and the cartridges beside the phonebook.

He gave them up a year or two before he died though.

There is no requirement in law to lock up shotgun cartridges as you don't need a shotgun certificate to buy them. So next to the phone book is as good a place as any. Mine are on the dining room table in a big basket like a centrepiece :D

The guns and firearm ammunition needs to be locked up though.

Ah that makes sense, the .22 ammunition was always locked away somewhere else.

3D printer. Cheap one just to see if they're any good. They are, it's amazing.

You've printed either guns or dicks.

Sadly it can't do guns for both technical and common sense reasons (weirdly not legal) but I have printed a gun accessory and I have promised to do a cock and balls for a guy at work.

Mostly though I've made octopus tentacle phone stands for almost everyone who's seen the one I made myself.

There's so many things I'd like to make with one of those, but I still think it'd be a willy first.

Anyone else enjoy the Amazon Prime day yesterday?

I picked up a 64GB USB stick (as I apparently have lost all my other sticks), a portable battery charging power pack thing for charging devices out and about, and a Harmony Elite remote just because it was half price
