My PS4 Pro and LG OLED 4K TV arrived today.
Holy fuck the PS4 Pro gives you an unfair advantage in online play. You can tell who has a normal PS4 and who has a Pro and the Pros dominate because of frame rate. Also BF1 looks stunning in 4K HDR.

Hopefully the new helmet works as well as the last one, just do me a favour and don't try and prove that though ;)

Quick update:

The bike is amazing. Super stiff, super light and effortless clicky shifts. Steering is sharp and it gathers pace quick when you get a full stomp on. The disc brakes are a total revelation compared to rims, total commitment in all conditions and zero fade. I've covered about 80km since picking it up Saturday and can't wait to get back out on it again. Exactly what I needed to restore my bruised confidence :D

The bag is also amazing, well worth the price for something so nicely put together. It has full-length side zips so opens out flat like a luggage bag, plus has cycling-specific touches like expandable storage for shoes, a soft glasses pocket, reflective detailing, vented back padding and a zip-away reflective rain cover.

I need to stop buying guitar stuff.

In the last month or so I've bought an LTD Snakebyte, a cheapy BC Rich Warlock bronze, and a Victory V30 amp with V212VV cab. Now I'm looking for Les Pauls as well...!

Just got these Knipex plier wrenchs got them in the 180 and 250.

Way better than bahco adjustables or cobra grips. Wish I found out about them years ago, only a fluke that they had them on display at CEF the other day - they were wanting ridiculous amount for them.

What a game changer.

Added the small 125 set to the basket, may keep them for the bike.

Honestly. I'm loving them.

Know when the shifter gets stuck? Or that you have to loosen it slightly, take it off then move it to back to get your turn on the nut or whatever. That is no more. Set it - it's quicker. - and that's it. When you need to move it back to the original just loosen your grip and slide it round, similar to a ratchet motion. Easier quicker and they are just as solid.

Nachos are still amazing and I actually use them on the fixed bracket/nut and use the plier on the item you are tightening.

250 arrived today.

Just tested it out. Head on it is much bigger than I thought which is perfect. will get away with having that and the 10 for the majority of stuff rather than going for the 12" which barely fits in the bag.

Image

8" wide jaw, 180mm, 10" and the 250mm

£145 worth but worth it 8)

What I'm finding as well is with the knipex at the 90° angle using the both of them together is much better than using two of each type. If you get a set let me know how you find them.

What the fucking fuck?

What does it do that the £5 one from Homebase doesn't?

There is a world of difference.

You'll snap the worm screw on a £5 one from home base potentially smashing your knuckles off a wall. The jaws don't grip correctly and have loads of movement, again they are very prone to slipping and you'll punch a wall using full force. They'll also jam without anything on them.

They're fine if youre just buying them once to put together a chair where you don't need to horse any fitting up.

You get what you pay for with hand tools, you can not cheap out of them.

It's like these gimmick products like this:-

There is no chance that jaw holds on any nut that's actually tight.
