Trivia

Postby Nemesis » Sun Mar 18, 2007 9:46 pm

I've had a magical afternoon.... Yes! I watched The Illusionist promptly followed by The Prestige. Although The Illusionist was fairly tame and I predicted the outcome it was miles ahead of The Prestige for entertainment value. The latter bored me half to death, the characters were dull and the storyline a mess.

Still, it's nice to see a couple of films so different than the normal sub-standard waste produced from Hollywood. Anyone watched either of these films yet?

I have watched neither sadly. I think I've heard of The Illusionist, but not the other one. Sorry. Sad

I went to a christening today with Jo for her baby cousin. Cute kid, but I've now changed my mind about christening my own children, as in I never want it done now. The priest was worryingly pushy and tried to get me on a proper guilt-trip at then end: He's already mentioned (twice) about donations, and there were a few people donating at the end so I went to walk round them, not sneakily or anything, and he turned around and said really patronisingly "THANK YOU, SIR!" (and yes, it was almost shouted). I put on my very best common Essex accent and replied with, "Thass alwight, mayte!" and carried on walking out. Cool Laughing

Prick.

I went to see Faithless last night. They were supported by Calvin Harris, and both were awesome.

I want Maxi Jazz's babies.

I am back home from Uni! And going to work at an IT company tomorrow. Should be fun, but I can't hack getting up earlier than 8:45 (pesky 9:00 lectures), and I'll somehow have to manage 7:00 tomorrow Confused

I feel like DEATH.

But that's cuz I played in a concert yesterday, followed by drinking, followed by a curry, followed by more drinking followed by drinking while playing poker.

I got back late... Confused

Also, QuickReply is not working.

And this version of PHPBB still sends usernames and passwords in plain text after registration.

I'm helping the development process by pointing out the flaws.

It's good for the community, innit.

Or something.
