Well, it's been nearly a year since I was discharged from my 9 month stay in hospital and I finally feel fixed. I've just been for a bike ride and I actually felt normal. No discomfort from broken insides and no pain or numbness in my atrophy damaged legs.

You have quite a few more years to prep for that Ekona!!!
But congrats, my cousin and his wife have had their first - a baby girl also. I'm now Uncle Sisko!!

We aren't old yet!!
Before visiting the arrival of my new niece I was doing some car work
On the weekend I changed the left hand side droplink/antroll bar on the Focus which did have play so now its new and taut - did it cure the clunking? No
(as in changed myself and not taken to a garage)
One thing eliminated though.
It means next weekend once the cuts on my hands have healed up that I have to do the trackrod end on the nearside and repeat on the offside
I've also cleaned out my printer heads but haven't stuck the cartridges back in yet!!
Then on the Sunday was at a sports day and our team won a trophy!! Very good weekend indeed

I'm back cycling more now. Just short 20 mile stints but I hope to be back up to my old 100+ mile sportives by Christmas.
I think I need a shiny new bike though. No, I deserve a shiny new bike.<looks at Dogma F12 out of corner of eye>

Glad everybody seems to be having good news and having mostly good things happening to them
I'm getting back into my biking again and getting my step-dad to come along with me so he can start to get fitter. We went on a 20km ride last Friday, which was his third bike ride in probably 15 years!
I have some not bad news of my own too. After all the layoffs at my college due to bad management and losing almost half our income, I still have a job there. We had to get rid of around 100 staff a couple of years ago, and a further 70 odd this year!
I was sure I'd be one of the ones to go since I'm a trainee and not actually doing that much actual work whilst I'm training.
