I wish I could remember my password from 3 years ago. There's no password reset form! :(

I wrote that photowall in a couple of hours so no there is no password reset form!

You only had to ask though, I've reset the password and PM'd you.

I also fixed the bug / feature. go me.

Just wanted a quick show of hands...

Would anyone be upset if the Photowall disappeared?

I'm asking because I just bought a shinny new VPS and so my shared hosting, where the photowall is hosted, will become surplus to requirements. It's cheap, so I'm not worreid about the cost of it staying up, the main problem is I can't move my silloyd.co.uk domain name away to my VPS because obviously that would kill top.silloyd.co.uk

I don't have the time to really move it to my VPS and reconfig everything there for it so if/when I make the move it would likely die.

On the other hand, my Google apps email runs through my silloyd.co.uk domain and so is linked to the shared hosting. This means I won't be moving the domain name any time soon because I don't want to drop any emails along the way...

But long story short, I want to gauge the reaction now while we still have loads of time before I make the switch. If there is a huge uproar I will hold off until such a time that the photowall is up on the new server, other wise it's just one less thing I'll have to worry about when moving.

I wouldn't mind if it went, but it's nice to see what people look like every now and then.
If we were so desperate for photos though, why not have a flickr account we all have access to with our mugs on it? Nice n easy fix maybe.

Personally I'd like to see it kept, however I'm just as happy for it to disappear for a bit while you get things sorted and then for it to reappear/be remade on a different server.

As long as it doesn't disappear forever into the gloom, then I think we can all handle it being gone for a bit. :)
