Awesome engineering, but then it's like putting 500hp through the front wheels of a Nova: It still ain't gonna work properly. That said, I'd love a go on something like that just for the sheer hell of it.

Personally, I'm very excited by this.

If they could get that system into mainstream operation, just think about how much easier it would make our lives.

What's a blown engine? Sounds impressive.

An engine that uses a method of forced air induction such as a turbo or supercharger is said to be "blown".

Cos, like, there's more air blown in it, innit.

That's less impressive than I was hoping. I wanted there to be explosives and/or rockets involved. Oh well. Thanks for the explanation Dr. J.

Remember this from a couple of weeks back? The first track results are back and it's looking pretty quick - 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and 100mph in 8.9 seconds from standing start..

And I still think it looks sex, Dan Razz

Ah, they're Lotus-released specs. Expect the 0-60 to be pretty close, but the 0-100 to be well out by at least a second. Just ask an Exige S owner if they can do 0-100 in the 9.9 secs Lotus claim...

I don't know why they do it: It's not like a Lotus owner really cares how quick it is in a straight line. You'd have thought Lotus would have learnt that by now.

Didnt pic the van up.

Still needs work doing on it to get it through the MOT. Looks in a lot better shape than it did last month.
It had bent side panels etc now it looks a lot better but still needs a few more things doing on it, plus an MOT.
