Yes, a thousand times, yes.
We only get one life. Nothing fun should be prohibited as long as it doesn't hurt anyone but the user. Even guns and bombs and laser guided attack drones should be allowed. If people use them on other people then they should go to prison or be executed depending on the severity but don't ban things.
Society hates individuals. You can't let society run your life or you'll piss it away.

Also Apache helicopters are legally available in unarmed form but there's no law preventing you from mounting automatic paintball guns on them. Getting certified to fly one would be expensive but if you could afford to buy one then it would be trivial.

You'd be surprised how many things are not prohibited. Don't let Guardian reading, middle class, boring, communist cunts stop you from enjoying your life.

But most people are fucking stupid. You're assuming that the general run of the mill person can be trusted, they simply can't, don't tar the majority of the population with the intelligence brush that most of us on here have.
There are literally MILLIONS of thick bastards in this country. Give them the right to own a gun? I don't think so.

But we need natural selection to weed out retards. Health and safety has ensured these morons live long enough to breed. Let them learn how to use a Glock by trial and error and we become a stronger species.

Take the safety/warning labels off everything.

Damn right. Why cater to the lowest common denominator? Why restrict my life because of other people's actions?

The only problem is that some of the "lowest common denominator" types could end up taking alot of us normals out with them.

Acceptable losses. The world is over populated anyway.

Seriously. Stop shooting each other.

Have you not seen the news lately?

They voted to take down the Union Flag from Belfast City Hall before xmas, and only have it up a few designated days a year. Riots ever since.

Spoiler/NSFW: (click to reveal/hide)
There's absolutely no reason to have this vote, except to cause problems, split parties, and increase tensions cross-community

Seems the perfect place to test my theory that arming everyone will create a universal stalemate and thus peace.

That's fine by me, just give me advanced warning. After all, I am one of you.

Someone was suggesting that giving everyone who owns a gun in the US the right to kill 1 person a day without legal consequence, with the idea that the problem would sort itself out pretty darn quickly.

That seems a bit much. A fair refereed dual would be OK though.

Very. I thought places like Brazil and most of Africa were hotbeds of "everyone has at least 3 AKs and uses them daily".

Could the media have lied to me??

Possibly that lies to you too. Better to have every source than none.
Also, I know RB is ribbing and tongue in cheek, but "duelling" (spelling, not dual, sorry man) and "acceptable losses, the world is overpopulated" are great ways to undermine anything you've said that might be serious, this is serious folder after all.

If you mean it, then I hope the next victim of a gun crime is someone you care for.
