That's because you're a well balanced, happy go lucky type of guy in full employment and your girlfriend's got nice boobs. :D

My grandfather's best mate shot him in the head (hunting accident). He was blinded for the rest of his life.
A mate of mine blew his thumb off with a shotgun climbing over a fence (another hunting accident).
He said the worst part was watching his dog gobble up his thumb and then sit there chewing it. The little bollix.

I think the difference is in the numbers Switzerland has something like 150,000 military or part timers
and all are allowed to bring their weapons home with them.

I'm just saying it's too easy, you have some personal problem, you get pissed up and it's just too easy to pick up a weapon and shoot yourself in the face.

So Switzerland has a suicide rate of 0.011 % against the UK rate of 0.007 %

My point is roughly this : Spend the sodding road tax on maintaining the roads.

But then we'd have even less to spend on NHS & schools & civil servant wages and stuff.

Well, there is that too. I'm annoyed at myself for not picking that up, it's one of my pet hates :(

You don't pay road tax???

I just paid €960.00 road tax for the year - 2.4ltr hell.
It's more than twice as much as my car insurance.

Anyway, unemployment - guns - suicide - road tax? I don't know what the answer is...
Unless it's 42 or take off and nuke the site from orbit and lets start all over again but with a better filter.

I'm shit at this stuff. Can somebody start a thread on Superstring theory or something please? :D

Yes sweetness. It is mis-named. It should be called road tax.

But they don't tax you based on road usage or to aid the roads.
A slight majority of a statistically worthless sample size agree.

They get enough road tax from the fuel.
