Postby Gi Me Beer » Tue May 28, 2013 10:04 pm

Personally I think yes.

I'm alright with the PS4.
Giz a bit of info then, go one, be a devil and set up the OP properly.

We need more trains.
Also; space elevators and stargates.

Seriously, start the thread properly.

I think we have about 3 destinations with our trains over here.

We need it more than you.

I just hope if Alyx is in it that they turn down the nagging... "Over here Gordon!" every 2 seconds gets a bit thin after a while.

Monrailllllll!

And yes, we do need it. Although to be fair you can fly from London city to Glasgow for £50-60 single so it's not to bad but going from Manchester to London would be perfect and get it done from Newcastle to Birm then onto London and Newcastle to Glasgow as well. About time we got some decent public transport. Would help for things like the World Cup bids as well.

Do we need it? Well yes, probably. Do we have other things that the money could be better spent on? Absolutely. The budget for HS2 would provide fibre interwebs to every single home and business in the UK, and that would make a huge difference to both peoples lives as well as the economy, and would make us a world leader in that.

Instead we get a train that's still slower than stuff that's 20 years old. Whoopeedoo.

Whilst I think HS2 is important and should be built. In reality, the technology was there 20+ years ago, why wasn't it done then?

Also we need more teachers, more doctors, more and better equipped hospitals, more prisons. It seems to me the infrastructure of this country is worn out.

Couldn't agree with you more, on all counts.

Trains are expensive and full of cunts. They should spend the money on glass smooth (but grippy) motorways and remove the speed limit on them.
A slight majority of a statistically worthless sample size agree.
