Not sure what the Asda-Sainsbury merger has to do with it 
Three Tories have joined now. Would need to be an awful lot more and with some actual policies before it's anything other than a footnote in politics.

Definitely not. People vote for an MP and not for a party: If their MP was doing a good job before, then they should carry on doing a good job after.

You seriously believe the majority of people vote that way? I'd suggest that the majority are "party voters" and the number who vote for the person is relatively small.

I voted for the party not the MP.
We still have a Labour MP in our area though
