Can't connect to router via wifi?

Postby Ekona » Sun Aug 03, 2014 11:14 pm

So suddenly the router here in the US won't let me connect via wifi, to anything. Win8.1 laptop, Kindle, or iOS devices.

Was working fine earlier, was streaming Netflix quite happily to the iPad, then BOOM! Nothing. If I connect via ethernet it's fine, I can get into the admin panel and do whatever I like. Tried changing channels, nothing. Tried resetting router on/off, nothing. Devices can see the wifi signal, they just refuse to connect. I cannot even access the admin panel via wifi.

It's a Thomson DWG855T, uses Yank cable for interweb access. Any ideas?

Currently stealing someone elses unsecured wifi!

Panic over, I fixed it. Removed the battery back up and did a proper reset of the damn thing, seems to have cured it for now.
