Postby Entity » Wed Jun 03, 2015 4:50 pm

It's happening, guys! I've always preferred Fallout to the TES games, so I'm mega excited for this! :D

Apparently there's a demo out.
Anyone played it yet?

Not quite a demo, Bethesda hosted their first E3 conference last night and showed off the new gameplay and features. There is also now an iOS game too called Fallout Shelter (completely free, no pay to win etc) where you get to be the Overseer of your own vault.

It's a gimmick, but a nice one.

This is going to be awesome. 8)

That... actually looks pretty good. And I've not played any of the previous ones.

Shame my PC wouldn't do it justice. I may wait for it to go on Steam sale.

Is it just single player with a story, or was that bit about building a base multiplayer?

You didn't play New Vegas??? What's wrong with you?

Fallout is a completely story driven, free roaming, single player game. It's all about the atmosphere.
The base building is a kind of - "build it and they will come" kinda thing I'm guessing.
So you either build it where you know other groups will pass it or there's some trigger when you build a certain component that spawns attackers.

I'm looking forward to this, I absolutely love fallout 3, got new vegas but not started playing it yet. Will probably wait until a goty edition comes out for fallout 4 though.
