I installed a lightning trap in my bedroom door for security.
Why does it not warn you that it's not selective about who it kills?
I thought it would only electrocute enemies but the second I connected it to the generator, it murdered me. Thanks.

lol ... I got that as well when I built one at the front gate, but it didn't kill me.

How though? There was no fucker there to kill!

I think it takes them a while to arrive after you get the warning.
Which would be handy because you could make a few turrets and then save them instead of scrapping them so you don't lose any resources.

Crushed two attacks on my settlements.
They came one after the other.
Just returned to Sanctuary when notification of the first one arrived.
Raiders arrived about a minute after I got there.
Just got back to Sanctuary when the 2nd one came in.
Feral Ghouls, they were already attacking when I arrived.

There should be some kind of a sound effect, like a bell or something.
It would be really easy to miss the warning.

I won't give any spoilers, but I found something quite cool.
Cait asked me to do something for her. She wanted me to take her somewhere,
but it was deep in an area I hadn't been in before. It was difficult to get there,
and even more difficult to get inside her... it.
Anyway, it's cool and she's my squeeze and we're getting married now.
Wait... what?! Fuck that shit. Do you know how expensive it is to get married these days???!!!

I'm going to buy this on PC as well, I think. I just want to be able to cheat everything up to the max and have a laugh with it.



Also, I tried looking around on the interweb to see if joining Faction A would have any detrimental effect on if I join Faction B later on. I found a thread, really helpful (it doesn't) but then some cunt went and posted the spoiler of the main story so now I know exactly what happens in the end. Arse.

She's in a building in the combat zone.
It's one of the places you get tasked to go to fairly early in the game.
She has a few... issues.

I haven't cheated yet besides exploiting those few glitches.

The only faction I've joined are the Minute men.
I've put off joining the Paladins or whatever they're called for the moment.

Yeah, some cunts on reddit were posting major spoilers a couple of days ago.
I'm really careful now what I look up. I think I have nearly 40hrs into the game,
but I've only done a few quests. Most of my time has been spent exploring the North-West of the map.
I've only gone a little ways East and South of the highways besides for quests.
And trying to figure out building shit and supply lines etc.
Oh and trying to work out how to get into Cait's knickers of course.

I've only done the first death claw fight and set up those people in sanctuary. I've been wandering around finding places and killing things and I'm now level ten. I think I'm going to do the story now and also go it alone.

Half the fun of the game is just wandering around and running into things.
I ran into a group of Super Mutant Scouts wandering around in the wasteland.
One of them was a Super Mutant Suicider. He was chasing me around whilst holding a mini nuke.
I legged it. Cait killed him before he could catch up with me.
