They patched it? I'll have a look and see if it's still a festering turd. See plumbers are represented ;)

I don't think I've ever seen a brown Asian guy in any game but it doesn't bother me.
We used to and still are discriminated against or suffer from hate crimes.

But the game never showing a person that looked like me didn't even matter.
I was more focused on OMG I'M SHOOTING NAZIS IN THE BALLS.

Drinking whiskey, sitting on an alien planet, watching the sunset.

Yeah... it's the little things that make me love Bioware games :)

I still don't like it.
I think it's the voice actors more than anything. Just not up to the standards of the last ME. Also the ugly wazzy eyed Sims character models.

I'm not seeing it, personally. (Hearing it? Whatever).

Maybe it's just new actors getting into new roles. By ME3, most of the major voice cast had done at least one and potentially two previous games with their characters. Hundreds of hours of dialogue in some places.

Maybe I'm just less of an audiophile.

It just seems like the actors are more Hollyoaks than Hollywood. They never seem to get angry or excited or anything else really.
It's almost like Bioware lost the audio files and had to use the first script reading. They definitely lost the character models and had to use the ones the work experience kid knocked up.

I think it's brilliant. Now I'm near the end and I know the characters better (and have forgotten about the old, much-loved ones) I think they're perfectly fine. I mean, I don't think they're quite as good as the first three games' characters, but only because they were superbly crafted and gave us the extremes of the races. That said, Peebee is much more interesting than Liara. I do miss Joker though. Can't take anything away from the ones here though, as I've clearly developed a bond with them as some of the choices I've had to make have been really tough :(

It must be a PS4 thing with the dodgy character models, I've had zero issues on the PC.

The ugly Sims models are on the PC too. ME3 was much prettier. Even in 4K HDR, it looks like a last gen game.

I think it's your eyes. They're absolutely fine, with no clipping or anything. Do you just not like the styling? I agree it's a bit odd at first, but better now they've changed the eyes.

The lighting is stunning, especially the bloom when transitioning areas. And the sheer amount of play area on the planets is huge, and oh so pretty.

It's the fact that they look like rubber skin suits compared to ME3.

Yeah I've seen a few videos now, not come across anything like that at all in my game.

Finished it. Fuck man, this was absolutely amazing. The end mission is just full of brilliant set pieces and some kick-ass lines (if you choose the right options!).

Yup, I'm convinced this is a truly wonderful videogame, and it cements the ME series as my favourite of all time.

Man, I can't be more than 50% through. I'm just side-questing it all the way.

I just visited the low-gravity planet. Ryder's hysterical laughter the first time I boosted then jumped a massive distance in the Nomad was glorious.

Also, I don't know what the pre-order codes got, but the standard black paint job for the Nomad... :wubs:
