Apparently the update is due to hit Friday now! Its still rumored to be a big update though which is nice.

Get a PS3 definitely. It makes a great backup to the 360!

I suppose you can use it as a backup when your 360 explodes from playing GTA4 too much.

I wussed out. Again. Been to the airport and back for work y'see, and walked right past HMV twice. I keep getting so excited and thinking "Right, this time I'll definitely buy one" and then wussing out at the last minute as I know that buying a PS3 now doesn't make sense when I'm not finished playing my current 360 games. And I'm damn sure you lot must be tired of hearing me talking about it.


No more PS3 talk from me until I'm ready to actually go and buy one. Promise.

On the PS3, I mean. Okay, so they've got a bit of a delay issue with the mikes right now (although, and this could just be me, it seems like the game is actually adapting and learning, and changing the timing so the delay is nowhere near as noticeable. I have been drinking though ), but the true winner here is the on-line stuff. More specifically, where you watch some other idiot dance and sing like a numpty for 30secs on the Youtube-esque community pages. Me and Jo have spent the last hour giggling at the videos on there, especially of one Japanese couple in particular as they blatantly don't speak very good English, yet still try their hardest. Their version of Pass The Dutchie is comedy gold!

Also, downloading new songs instead of waiting for a new disc to be released is genius.

All true, but the only downer is the fact that instead of the 300 songs at launch we were promised would be on the singstore, we got 60-ish. Not cool!

The Japanese couple are very funny but the funniest video on there had to be the Macy Gray - I Try video. Some dude dressed up as Macy Gray and sang it in a very funny Macy-ish voice. It was comedy gold and was number one video for a good few days before it was withdrawn!

MY current fav has to be the guy who made himself a Milk carton box for his head for Coffee and TV. The face on it is perfect!

The thing that doesn't sit well with me is the plethora of under 10 years-old girls singing and dancing to the Pussycat Dolls. That just gives me the creeps, and you have to wonder what the parents are thinking.
