Weird screen capture based coding tool

Postby RobD » Thu Mar 11, 2010 10:42 pm

Hello,

Found this weird coding (think the term coding should be used loosely here) tool today, basically you can create a script using screen capture and then export it as a exe. So for example you take a screen shot of your start button then a screen shot of run and then using some syntax like type("Big floppy donkey cock") And before you know it you have a exe that will start your run command and type bug floppy donkey cock. Not sure of a better use but quite interesting tool:

Vaguely related is Selenium, which is basically a programmable macro recorder browser tool type thing, for automated testing of web apps etc.

My favourite part of the website is
Watch: see the magic.

And then if it worked on said lady, did you go on to step 3: "Deploy: scale out, speed up" ? ;)
